2 min read

SITEVI 2023 is set to witness the unveiling of New Holland’s game-changing innovation – the E15X Electric Power Mini Excavator. Breaking new ground in construction technology, this fully electric model is a testament to New Holland’s commitment to environmental sustainability and technological advancement.

Part of a comprehensive range comprising fifteen mini excavators, the E15X stands out for its exceptional features, including width, design, versatility, innovation, comfort, and performance. The machines, available in Zero Tail-swing or Short Radius configurations, redefine the standards for efficiency in confined spaces.

This groundbreaking introduction is the result of New Holland’s strategic acquisition of Sampierana S.p.A., an Italian company known for its reliability, quality, and innovative technology in earthmoving machinery. The move positions New Holland at the forefront of the industry’s evolution towards eco-friendly solutions.

Awarded a Special Mention at the EIMA Technology Innovation Awards 2022, the E15X is powered by a 21.5 kW lithium-ion battery, providing performance equivalent to the diesel E14D model. Its compact design facilitates access to tight spaces, making it an ideal choice for indoor applications. With a full 8-hour working day autonomy and a rapid 1-hour charging capability, the E15X ensures continuous productivity.

As a zero-emission vehicle with minimal noise impact, the E15X caters to various applications, from agriculture and horticulture to landscaping, general digging, and demolition tasks in indoor or confined spaces. Environmental consciousness is further emphasized through the use of eco-friendly biological hydraulic oil and cobalt-free lithium batteries, enhancing sustainability.

New Holland’s foray into fully electric mini excavators signifies a pivotal moment in the construction industry’s transition towards cleaner, greener technologies. The E15X Electric Power Mini Excavator is poised to redefine the future of construction machinery, setting a new benchmark for innovation and sustainability.
