Riviera, Australia’s foremost luxury motor yacht builder, is set to celebrate a historic milestone at the 2024 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, commencing on May 23. This year, Riviera proudly marks the launch of its 6,000th motor yacht, highlighting the brand’s sustained excellence and innovation in yacht manufacturing.
The highlight of Riviera’s participation in the boat show will be the world premiere of a new, innovative yacht. This exceptional vessel has been developed in collaboration with award-winning superyacht designer Luca Vallebona, showcasing Riviera’s commitment to cutting-edge design and luxury. “We are delighted to again work with Luca on an outstanding new yacht that is certain to inspire our owners and visitors to our display,” said Rodney Longhurst, owner of Riviera Australia.
Riviera’s showcase at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show is a unique opportunity to experience the latest advancements in luxury yachting. The display will feature a diverse array of yachts, including the 5400 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition, which is the company’s landmark 6,000th yacht. This model exemplifies Riviera’s dedication to quality, luxury, and innovation.
“Our grand showcase represents the very latest in world-class design and will be Riviera’s only boat show display in Australia in 2024,” Longhurst remarked. “Visitors will be able to fully appreciate the quality, practicality, and luxury among our showcase yachts that have earned Riviera international regard.”
The Riviera exhibit will include a variety of yachts, each representing the pinnacle of craftsmanship and design. The lineup features the sophisticated Riviera Motor Yacht, the versatile Riviera Sports Motor Yachts, the stylish Riviera Sport Yacht Platinum Editions, the adventurous Riviera SUVs, and the timeless Belize Motor Yacht. Each model highlights Riviera’s commitment to luxury, performance, and innovative design.
In addition to the yacht display, Riviera will host the Festival of Boating, a three-day event featuring educational and training workshops for Riviera owners. These workshops cover a range of essential boating skills, including navigation, seamanship, and safety, designed to enhance the overall boating experience for Riviera owners and their families.
The festival will also include exclusive social events, such as a ladies’ luncheon and several gala events, providing a platform for Riviera owners to connect and celebrate their passion for yachting.
“Our showcase will provide a unique opportunity in one convenient location to experience Riviera today, the finest yachts we have ever designed and built,” Longhurst said. “These motor yachts are world class in every respect; so quiet and smooth, so technically superior, so luxurious and just so capable offshore.”
Riviera’s dedication to excellence is evident in every aspect of their yacht manufacturing process. “Our team of 950 craftspeople work in an ever-evolving and more technically advanced facility, continuing to refine the design and quality of our yachts,” Longhurst noted.
The 2024 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show promises to be an event to remember, with Riviera’s showcase set to be a major highlight. As the company celebrates this significant milestone, it continues to lead the yachting industry with its innovative designs and luxurious yachts.
