In a triumphant win, the Genesis Electrified GV70 has been crowned the Luxury Vehicle of the Year at the prestigious 2023 Hispanic Motor Press Awards. This accolade marks Genesis’s third consecutive victory, with the GV70 following in the tire tracks of the GV80 in 2021 and the GV70 in 2022.
The Hispanic Motor Press Awards, now in its 14th year, meticulously assess vehicles catering to Hispanic consumers across various criteria such as styling, technology, safety, environmental impact, driver satisfaction, mechanical reliability, and overall value.
Claudia Marquez, Chief Operating Officer of Genesis Motor North America, expressed delight at the recognition, stating, “We are pleased to have the Electrified GV70 recognized as the Hispanic Motor Press 2023 Luxury Vehicle of the Year. Genesis aims to deliver products that reach a diverse group of consumers across our region and around the world through bold designs, dynamic performance, and the highest standards of safety.”
Launched early in 2023, the Electrified GV70 stands as the third electric model in Genesis’s lineup. This state-of-the-art vehicle combines exceptional design and advanced technologies, featuring standard equipment such as all-wheel drive, a 14.5-inch HD multimedia display, and an extensive suite of driver assistance and safety features, including Highway Driving Assist. A noteworthy aspect is that the Electrified GV70 is the first Genesis model to be assembled outside of Korea, finding its manufacturing roots in Montgomery, Alabama.
