McCauley’s High-Performance Propeller Receives FAA Certification for Beechcraft King Air B300 Series

McCauley Propeller Systems, a division of Textron Aviation Inc., has achieved a significant milestone with the successful certification of its latest C780 propeller for the Beechcraft King Air B300 series. The propeller, featuring four aluminum swept blades and a 105-inch diameter, has received approval from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

The C780 propeller offers operators of the King Air B300 series a range of benefits. Its lightweight scimitar blade design contributes to increased payload capacity and improved takeoff and climb performance. Furthermore, passengers can enjoy reduced noise levels in the cabin and cockpit, enhancing the overall flying experience. Additionally, the propeller boasts an extended Time Between Overhaul (TBO) of 5,000 hours or 72 months.
